Don R. Smith, CPA

Don is the managing partner of our Little Rock office and is partner-in-charge of the firm's bond arbitrage services practice. He joined Thomas & Thomas LLP in 1983 after spending eleven years with a large, international accounting firm.

Don is a native of De Valls Bluff, Arkansas. He graduated with honors from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Don is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in Arkansas and Texas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Government Accountants, and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.

Don has served on the Board of Governors of the Pleasant Valley Country Club and several other Cental Arkansas nonprofit organizations. He also served for many years as chairman of the Little Rock Sponsors Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. He currently serves as Vice President of Finance and a board member of the Sales and Marketing Executive Association of Arkansas.
